Franco Secone
Franco Secone was born in Città Sant’Angelo Jan. 12, 1959 where he lives and works. He owns a studio-gallery where he exhibits in turn his paintings and sculptures of the last 30 years. Initially his work went counter to the trends of the market, but after several experiments he opted for a conceptual approach that he considers best expresses his vision of reality. His studio-gallery is now open to the general public and art dealers establishing important ties with the latter.
Lately he has shown his collection “The Perimeter of the Image” at the Palace of Raffaello in Urbino, “Italicum” at the gallery Domus in Rome, “Symposium of international contemporary art” at Gallipoli and the “ Physiognomic Investigation n.3 by the 5th Base Gallery of London. He has also been featured in the catalog “Percorsi d’arte in Italia 2017”
Lately he has produced a number of pendants by using the RAKU method.
Franco Secone, nasce il 12 Gennaio del 1959 a Città Sant’Angelo (PE) dove vive e lovora. Nel suo studio-galleria ha raccolto le sue opere di pittura e scultura realizzate nel corso degli ultimi trent’ani circa. Inizialmente la sua scelta è stata controcorrente nei confronti del mercato. Successivamente, dopo alcune mostre realizzate su tutto il territorio nazionale che hanno riscosso notevoli consensi, ha aperto le porte del suo studo al pubblico e ai galleristi instaurando con quest’ultimi importanti rapporti di collaborazione. Dopo molte sperimentazioni alla ricerca del suo percorso personale, approda alla pittura e alla scultura concettuale, stile grazie al quale esprime al meglio la sua visione della realtà.
Tra le tante mostre alle quali ha partecipato nell’ultimo periodo c’è “Il perimetro dell’immagine” al Palazzo Raffaello di Urbini, “Italicum” alla Galleria Domus Romana di Roma, “Simposio Internazionale d’Arte Contemporanea” a Gallipoli (LE) e Physiognomic Investigation n. 3” presso la 5th Base Galley di Londa.
E’ inoltre presente sul catalogo edito da Rubettino, “Percorsi d’Arte in Italia 2017.”
